Natural variation is part of the material

Real wood varies in grain, tone, texture, knots, and finish response. Red Grandis generally presents a smoother visual field. Southern Pine shows more pronounced grain and natural knots. E-Peck adds intentional pockets and striations. Thermally Modified Ash retains visible hardwood grain and can weather differently according to exposure. The installed field will contain more variation than one website image or sample board.

Evaluate samples under project conditions

• View boards in the intended daytime and evening light.
• Place them beside flooring, stone, paint, cabinetry, and metal finishes.
• Compare more than one option while the direction is still open.
• Use a sample to select a direction, not to predict every board.

Care for Synergy prefinished wood
